Weekend Highlights

Happy Monday, everyone! Today, my coffee needs a coffee. I won't even tell you how many cups I've had so far. ;) I was too busy talking to my momma on the phone this morning (for almost 50 minutes!) that I completely forgot to take my biscuits out of the oven. #wheresthecereal #ineedmorecoffe #andsleep

We had a super fun and very busy weekend! I will spend my week this week catching up on chores and Scandal (I'm 3 weeks behind...!).

Here's a few fun highlights from our weekend!

...................................................................................

Friday I took Robby to Heb and he rode in the big boy part of the shopping cart. So fun!

How cute is he sitting there with his adorable winter hat?? He had so much fun! He was mesmerized by all of the colorful groceries.

Friday after Heb I baked a delicious apple pie.

On Friday evening, I hosted a simple post-Thanksgiving dinner for one set of my in-laws since we were out of town for Thanksgiving.
We had lemon and rosemary roasted chicken, slow cooker creamed corn, homemade cranberry sauce, rolls, and apple pie. It was delicious.

Saturday morning was super fun! We woke up and went to Starbucks (of course) and headed to our churches annual CLC Dream Team Retreat at the University of Texas football stadium. I'm so thankful to be apart of a wonderful church in ATX.

The sun was SO bright so I didn't get 1 photo with my eyes open. Oh well.

After we left the retreat, I went and took a sweet families Christmas card photos downtown. I won't show you photos due to client confidentiality but they turned out super great!

On Sunday morning, we did what we do every Sunday and went to church! This Sunday, Spencer and I (mainly Spencer, lol) led the 6-9 year olds kids ministry in all 3 services. That's always fun teaching little people about the Lord. I forgot to take pictures!

After church we went to lunch with my in-laws and had a good time.

Later Sunday afternoon, Spencer walked through the front door with flowers...he's so romantic. :)
How pretty are these Christmas flowers? Love my SBG.

And that about wraps up our fun weekend! I love weekends. I'm not ready for Monday, but I'm thankful to have a fresh new start this week. Now, for more coffee.. ;)

Love from The Green's...

  1. Your little guy looks adorable in the shopping cart!! My youngest is my shopping buddy and he knows HEB = tortillas for him. As soon as I put him in the cart, he starts reaching out for his fresh tortilla!! Sounds like an awesome weekend! And that meal you cooked looks delish!!!
